Website Design is about capturing people's attention and focusing it on your products. Many people have pre-conceived ideas of what their website should look like. But they have forgotten one of the most important keys to getting people to visit your website in the first place is to make sure it ranks well in Google. For example those cute drop down menus might look nice, but they can actually have a negative affect on how your website ranks and even on how many people see your website via the search engines. Put a nice big picture of something interesting at the top of the page and place next and previous buttons on it and people will start clicking next, next, next.
