We all understand that a well designed and good looking website can help convert lookers to buyers. However, it's also important to focus on things such as what looks good to you on your monitor may not look good to other people on their monitors.  The idea behind website design is to have a website that works well for everyone, irregardless of the age or brand of their monitor or what browser they are using.

Website Design is about capturing people's attention and focusing it on your products.  Many people have pre-conceived ideas of what their website should look like.  But they have forgotten one of the most important keys to getting people to visit your website in the first place is to make sure it ranks well in Google.  For example those cute drop down menus might look nice, but they can actually have a negative affect on how your website ranks and even on how many people see your website via the search engines.  Design is about working to capture the best of both worlds (appearance and optimization) while avoiding things that can reduce the flow of visitors to your website.  

Website Graphics and Colors

When it comes to Website Graphics and Colors it never ceases to amaze people in the website design industry how some people will come in totally focused on a certain shade of orange, green, purple, blue or some other color that they feel they must absolutely have.  These same people often have a hard time grasping that the colors they are seeing on their monitors are not necessarily the exact same colors as people around the world on seeing on theirs.  In fact we have had to prove it to people several times by lining up multiple websites and showing them that the colors look different on each monitor.  In addition, unlike print, colors seen on a monitor are high affected by the colors of surrounding objects.  For instance if you have an orange border and then add too much text it starts to look like halloween.  The color of orange actually appears to change.  Another factor is image quality and load time ... To read more click the link above.

Pictures
