Most website companies start your website out with a pre-made template (We call this website in a box) that consists of about 6 pages. They fill in the blanks (The program gives them choices of colors and fonts, etc...) and you now have a very nice looking 6 page website. The only problem is that Google does not like to rank 6 page websites for important products and services. It takes a much larger website. But having started with such a small template it would be very expensive for this company to expand your website to the number of pages you really need to be competitive. Oh, and Google doesn't like all the excess coding in the (Website-in-a-Box) websites. On the other hand we hand built our own custom one hundred page website templates. You may not need 100 pages. No problem. It's far easier (and cheaper) to delete the pages you don't need (about five minutes) than it would be for our competition to add more pages to their websites (Several hours of billable time). Nothing is worse than owning a website and having to trust your website person to print out your statistics and mail them to you. You can only get them by making a special request, they seem to be missing a lot of information and you can't be sure they have not been tampered with. We agree. You should be able to see your statistics anytime you want 24 hours a day from any location in the world. Do you love Google maps? We hope so because we have already installed them on your website template. We can take them off if you like, but we think you will love being able to give your clients an interactive map (satellite views too) to make it easier for them to find your location. | ||

For some of our clients we have found that including local information pages can be a huge help. For instance real estate agents can make friends by listing all the local attractions, movie theaters, hotels, restaurants, places to rent cars, airlines, etc... on their websites to make it easier for people coming from out of the area to enjoy their trip and have a good time. With that in mind we build a special version of our template that already includes every kind of local information that a traveler to your city might want. Over 90 percent of website optimization companies do not seem to understand that Google and the other search engines use cookies to track how many pages people go to on your website. If people go to more pages on your website than your competitions website your website moves up in the rankings. If they go to more on your competitions then your website moves down. With that in mind we made it easier for people to navigate your website. First we made a lot more of the buttons visible. Second we added next and previous buttons towards the top of the page (Where people can actually see it) and then we set up a place under the next and previous button where you can display nice big pictures. The idea is (and it really works) that people will click Next, Next, Next... while looking at the pictures (which also changes the page they are on) and that as a result they will visit more pages on your website than your competitions with an end result that Google moves your website higher in the search engines. | ||
